Free & Reduced Lunch Forms Available Now

HHS Parents/Guardians: Please use the following link to fill out the Free & Reduced Lunch Forms. The process can be done digitally and only takes a few minutes to complete. We ended the year with over $6,000 in cafeteria charges. Some of our families would have qualified and benefitted from the assistance, but they didn't fill out the form. Please take the time to fill it out even if you think you don't qualify. We want to make sure our families have all the support they need for a successful school year.

Senior Portrait Sessions Available Now

Attention Senior Parents!!! Booking is now OPEN for the Class of 2026 senior portrait sessions. Cady will return to Heritage High School on October 2nd for senior sessions! Get photos for grad announcements, senior yearbook ads, and flawless posts on your socials. Book now at cady.com/schedule

Yearbooks Have Arrived!!!

The 2025-2026 yearbooks are in!

Graduated seniors can pick up their books in the front office during normal school hours.

Beginning Monday, all other students can pick their book up in Mr. Peace's room, 1218, across from the Academic Courtyard downstairs.

A small number of extras are available for purchase. They are $85, cash or check made out to "HHS Yearbook." They can be purchased in the front office or from Mr. Peace.

Contact Mr. Peace at gpeace.hhs@catoosa.k12.ga.us if you have any questions.

Avoid The Hassle, Pay Fees Online

HHS Parents: We have a number of students who have outstanding fees (missing books, chargers, chromebooks, cafeteria charges, etc). These can be paid online without coming to school. Please use the following instructions to view your student's fees and pay online. Many of our parents have already taken advantage of this opportunity this year and enjoyed the convenience. https://cdnsm5-ss10.sharpschool.com/UserFiles/Servers/Server_19189528/File/Departments/Technology/Infinite%20Campus%20Parent%20Portal/Fee%20Payment%20User%20Guide_8-30-2022.pdf

Arriving After 8:15??

Any student arriving after 8:15 am will need to enter through the front office. CCA, Work-Based Learning, and Dual Enrollment students who arrive on campus after 8:15 will need enter the building through the front office. We have posted signs at the gym entrance to let students know this as well.

Purchase Your Parking Permits ASAP...

Student drivers need to purchase a parking permit as soon as possible. Parking permits are $30 and can be purchased in the HHS Front Office. The deadline was this past Friday. We will begin issuing tickets to anyone who does not have a parking permit starting this week.

Important Info Regarding Attendance

Please remember that you have 10 days from the absence to submit notes for attendance. If you need assistance with attendance, email hhs_attendance@catoosa.k12.ga.us and one of our attendance secretaries will be glad to assist you. It is very important to submit notes on time to set your student up for success if they are working to exempt their final exams. When turning in a doctor's note, we can only excuse the specific dates listed by the medical office. If your child missed extra days that aren't covered by the doctor's note, a parent note will be needed to excuse those absences. Remember, students can accumulate 5 parent notes for each semester.

School Safety Is A Priority

Parents, please help your students understand the importance of being aware of their surroundings. Please encourage your child to say something if they see or hear something that sounds un-safe or potentially dangerous. A courageous student willing to report something suspicious can make all the difference. This is something they should practice inside and outside of school to ensure their safety.

Everyone Is Responsible For School Safety

Students who see or hear something suspicious have many options when it comes to reporting what they see. Make sure they know they can report to an administrator, a teacher, a school counselor, or an adult they trust. They can also text hello to 741-741. Leaders cannot act on information they don't have so please encourage your student report what they see and hear if it is suspicious or dangerous. We're better together!

Counselors Corner

If your student needs support, please have them connect with one of our counselors. They serve students based on the student's last name. See below to find the contact information for your child's counselor.
