Meet the Principal
I am incredibly thankful and honored to join the Heritage High School family as your next principal. The reputation of excellence that Heritage has built is truly remarkable, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to its continued success.
I have heard so many wonderful things about Heritage High School and the community, which only reinforces my belief that I am incredibly blessed to be joining this community. I am especially excited to meet the students, parents, and staff members who have worked tirelessly to create such a positive and welcoming environment.
Many staff and community members have already reached out to welcome me, and I am grateful for the warm reception. I am a firm believer in the power of a quality education provided by caring teachers in a school that puts its students first. I love the energy of a school building and all that comes with it. I am passionate about working with students and families to prepare them for the future, and I am equally passionate about working with teachers as they support students in their goals and perfect their craft.
Coming from a middle-class, "blue-collar" family that valued education as a ticket to better opportunities, I come to work every day looking to create the same type of impact for all of my students. I am committed to adding to the already existing reputation of excellence at Heritage High School, and I cannot wait to get started.
I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and working together to ensure Heritage High School continues to be a great place for our students. Go Generals!
Sincerely,
Matt Phillips
