Welcome Back Generals
Dear Heritage High School Students and Parents,
I hope you're all enjoying a relaxing and refreshing summer! As we gear up for the 2025-2026 school year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect and reconnect.
This time last year, I was introducing myself as the new principal of Heritage High School. What a year it's been! From day one, I felt the energy, pride, and sense of community that makes Heritage such a special place. I am truly grateful for the way our students, staff, and families welcomed me into the Heritage community. It was an incredible first year-filled with memorable moments, impressive accomplishments, and strong relationships-and I'm beyond excited to begin Year Two as a Heritage General!
Walking the halls of Heritage each day reminds me just how fortunate we are to be part of a school where excellence, respect, and hard work are lived out in everything we do. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, on the field, or in the community, our students continue to raise the bar and represent our school with pride.
As we look ahead to the coming year, our focus remains clear: we are here to support every student in reaching their full potential. That means creating an environment where academic achievement, personal growth, and involvement in school life all go hand in hand. Heritage offers something for everyone-whether it's academics, athletics, the arts, or clubs-and we want every student to find their place and thrive.
To our students: take these last few weeks of summer to recharge and start thinking about the impact you want to make this year. Your voice, your passion, and your commitment make Heritage the amazing place it is.
To our parents and families: thank you for your continued trust and support. Please know that we are here for you and your student every step of the way. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas.
I can't wait to see everyone back on campus soon. Let's build on the momentum of last year and make this school year our best yet.
Go Generals!
Warm Regards,
Matt Phillips
Principal
